Teaching Assistant

We are hiring a support staff to assist children’s learning from Nursery to Year 2, handle playground duties, prepare resources, support the class teacher, and take part in lunch duty.

Start date: ASAP

Salary: GST Grade B: £23,857 (FTE). Prorata: £12,640.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 22.5 per week

Qualifications

• GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths
• Ability to read and write fluently, confident in maths
• Self‑confidence, common sense and maturity
• A good sense of humour and effective communication skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm
• SEN experience is desirable but not essential
• Confidence to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 2
