Teacher for a composite Year 2-3 class

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 03/08/2026, End Date: 16/12/2026 (To cover leave)

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher. English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our collaborative and supportive team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a sound understanding of the refreshed curriculum and effective pedagogy including an understanding of the Science of Learning.

We use structured programmes including Maths No Problem, iDeal and PC4L. Strength in teaching these programmes would be advantageous.

The successful applicant should be well organised, have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, go the extra mile and be able to create a warm and caring class atmosphere where students can thrive.
