Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax operations, oversee file production, mentor accounting teams, and ensure exceptional client service delivery. This is more than a traditional reviewer role, it's an opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day operations, quality control, and technical execution of a growing tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review Canadian tax compliance and tax planning engagements for small businesses and high-net-worth clients
- Review and finalize T1, T2, T3, T5013, and related filings, including supporting schedules, elections, and disclosures
- Review cross-border Canada–U.S. tax files, ensuring accurate reporting, treaty positions, and documentation
- Identify tax planning opportunities involving owner-manager planning, corporate reorganizations, remuneration strategies, capital gains planning, and succession planning
