Job Description
The Tactical Procurement Intern will support the supply chain and production teams by assisting with material requirement planning, inventory control, and supply monitoring. The intern will help ensure that raw materials and components are available to meet production schedules while minimizing excess inventory and supply disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing material requirements based on production schedule.
- Be responsible for Open Order and Open Requisition reports.
- Update KPIs of the department.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and adherence.
- Analyze engineering changes.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and identifying shortages and excess.
- Participate in process improvements initiatives.
