The Systems Engineer will perform measurement and analysis of various PC system devices with an emphasis on platform and device power and performance observation, analysis, and debugging. The role requires full stack analysis including operating system enablement, vendor driver enablement, and benchmark requirements. The position also includes light project management responsibilities for multiple devices and regular status reporting. Requirement/Must Have: Strong communication skills. Knowledge of power optimization and data acquisition equipment (DAQ). Working knowledge of x86 architecture. Understanding of I/O behavior and power management. Knowledge of PC system setup including hardware, operating systems, drivers, and BIOS configuration. Thorough understanding of PC industry standard buses such as PCIe, LPC, and USB.
