System Administrator

The IBM AS/400 (IBM i) Operations Analyst is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and support of the AS/400 environment, with a primary focus on ensuring the success of nightly backup processes, maintaining system integrity, and providing security administration. This role also includes providing timely fulfillment of application-level security access for the Infor BPCS system. 5 years of working as an AS/400 (IBM i) Operations Analyst or equivalent Hands-on experience with backup solutions (e.g., BRMS and/or ROBOT) and recovery procedures Strong knowledge of IBM AS/400 job management, system commands (CL), and troubleshooting techniques Experience administering user security (profiles, authorities, object-level security) Experience with tape libraries and backup hardware management Familiarity with BPCS or similar ERP systems preferred Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a team player Proficiency in English language required Perform Month-End, Quarter-End, and Ye...
