Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a **Synchrolift Support Hand** to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
The **Synchrolift Support Hand** is responsible for assisting in dry docking and undocking evolutions using the Synchrolift system. This role requires skilled handling of lines, operating equipment, and supporting various tasks, including diving as required. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Handling lines, operating the capstan, and driving the transfer tractor or other devices required during docking and undocking operations.
+ Preparing and participating in all aspects of dry docking/undocking evolutions to ensure efficiency and safety.
