Georgia Fugees Academy Charter School (GFACS)
is collecting applications for a Social Studies Teacher serving 6th-12th Grade
who possess an unwavering commitment to the Fugees Family, Inc. mission and the willingness to go above & beyond to meet the needs of students, families, and staff.
Reporting to the School Leader, this is a 10-month, exempt position. Our program begins with middle-school-level; however, our instructional scope begins with Kindergarten-level material. Most Fugees Academy students begin middle school performing well below grade level.
Key Responsibilities
+ Teach social studies classes with a wide range of lesson presentation techniques to adapt activities for different learning styles and levels of language proficiency, and to meet the needs of students where they are, while only using the approved curriculum and materials
