The Survey Technician supports a wide range of land surveying and construction projects by performing field surveys, operating surveying instruments, and maintaining accurate field records. This role requires strong awareness of safety and traffic control procedures, proficiency with modern surveying equipment, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented field environment.
Responsibilities
+ Follow all safety requirements and traffic control procedures for various surveying and construction operations to ensure a safe work environment.
+ Operate, handle, and perform basic field adjustments on surveying instruments, including transits, total stations, total electronic stations, data collectors, levels, compasses, tribrachs, and tripods.
+ Care for, clean, and properly store a variety of surveying tools and equipment, including field radios, to maintain equipment reliability and longevity.
