Job Title: Surgical Technologist (PRN)

Location: 2201 Westgate Plaza, Grapevine, TX

Responsibilities

• Prepare room in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for each individual surgical procedure.
• Demonstrate competence in care of specimens and accurately handle specimens at all times.
• Assist in positioning, prepping and draping of patients for surgical procedures.
• Set up, scrub and prepare procedures at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled time, unless otherwise directed by the Surgeon, Circulating Nurse or Team Leader.
• Perform services requiring technical or manual skills under the direction of the Surgeon or Circulating Nurse or Team Leader.
• Always maintain an orderly and sterile instrument table for purposes of efficiency; follow department standard set up.
