Job Description
Elevate patient safety standards as a Champion for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement quality initiatives focused on surgical excellence.
This influential leadership role involves working with the NSQIP Regional Team and the Local Department Head of Surgery to improve surgical practices through evidence-based strategies. With a commitment of about six hours per month, you will engage in quality improvement projects and collaborate at key meetings and conferences, fostering a culture of safety in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Surgical Clinical Reviewer on data abstraction
• Review and assess NSQIP regional reports
• Lead at least one quality improvement project each year
