Provides advice and guidance on more complex/difficult matters of the military processing realm, provides instructions and guidance for operation of the automated system. Oversees subordinate Military Pay Technicians or through Lead Military Pay Technician, oversees the accomplishment of technical work with policy, directives, regulations, and reporting requirements. Perform internal personnel administration and management tasks. Initiate personnel actions involving promotions, status changes, awards, disciplinary actions and separations. Duties will be developmental in nature when the position is filled below the full performance level.
