Term – Ending March 31, 2027 – Full Time (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Support children with extra support needs to fully participate in childcare programs and encourage positive social interactions with peers.
• Plan and implement inclusion strategies, daily activities, and culturally appropriate experiences that support children's developmental goals and objectives.
• Maintain communication with parents, complete daily documentation, prepare reports, and collaborate with childcare staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education (Basic and Post-Basic) or related post-secondary education in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or a similar field, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
