SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Department of the Navy of DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. Responsibilities You will perform clerical and administrative tasks in support of the mess hall’s daily operations. You will prepare letters, reports, and other administrative documents for the Mess Hall Manager’s review, signature, and forwarding to higher headquarters. You will manage office files, manuals, and publications; receives, opens, and routes all incoming correspondence You will assist the Mess Hall Manager and the Cook with meal production using menu planning programs. You will analyze inventory and usage data to properly order subsistence items within the authorized quarterly budget. You will oversee budget preparation and financial planning for food service operations to ensure accurate forecasting and effective resource management.
