Morson are working with the UK's leading defence manufacturer to find a new Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to work out of Sheffield or Barrow. Role Description Managing and taking responsibility for a portfolio of suppliers and all quality-related activities including FAIs without daily supervision Identifying any adverse trends, recommending, and initiating corrective actions with suppliers to ensure effective closure Understanding and deploying quality process improvement techniques to ensure that continuous improvement is maintained within the Supply Chain Mentoring a small team of Quality professionals as and when required, and support other members of the overall Quality Team Maintaining compliance to Business Unit's local Quality Business Management System and Project Quality Plans The promotion of the value of Quality throughout the Business and Supply Chain May have international or domestic travel dependant on supplier portfolio and business need Core Duties Support activ...
