Supervisory Speech-Language Pathologist

Summary The Supervisory Speech-Language Pathologist has full responsibility for administering all aspects of the Speech Therapy program within the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System . The duties and responsibilities are carried out throughout the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Lake City VA Medical Center and outlying outpatient clinics within the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. Responsibilities Conducting interviews with the patients and family members/caregiver. Selection and administration of screening tools to detect of speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders. Selection, administration, and interpretation of a full range of standardized test for the assessment of communication disorders (cognitive, language, speech, voice, fluency, and swallowing).
