Supervisory Registered Respiratory Therapist

Summary The Supervisory Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) must be clinically competent, management supportive, maintain a positive attitude, and be dependable. Demonstrate advanced practice skills and clinical judgement across many areas of respiratory care both inpatient and outpatient. The Supervisory RRT will be able to plan and assist in the establishment of a completely integrated respiratory care program. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Supervises and manages the respiratory department, assigning and evaluating work of subordinate staff and resolving issues that may interfere with patient examinations or treatments. Evaluates, implements, and recommends new procedures, equipment, products, and emerging technologies; provides instruction and training for new staff.
