Supervisory Program Analyst (Informatics)

Summary The Chief of Health Informatics(CHI) functions for the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) with responsibility for establishing a formal medical informatics leadership presence at the Medical Center. TVHS is a 416 bed, academically affiliated Medical Center. It is a tertiary care center, with a VA category 1a designation. The CHI is responsible for ensuring that knowledge of informatics is infused throughout the Medical Center and that health information issues affecting daily care. Responsibilities As the Supervisory Program Analyst Chief of Health Informatics, the incumbent directly supervises several facility functions and processes involved in information gathering, analysis education and presentation.
