Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. Responsibilities Serves as the organization’s focal point for overseeing and managing the all contracting efforts of various types of contracts, techniques for contracting or procurement, and contract negotiation and administration.
