Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Deputy Chief, Law Enforcement and Security Division at Tooele Army Depot. Responsibilities Develop long range organizational plans in conjunction with the Chief, Law Enforcement and Security Division. Determine, through regular inspection and observations, the adequacy of security coverage and controls for each area of the depot. Assign work to subordinate supervisors and relies on them to carry assignments through to completion. Interpret and places into effect policies and instructions from higher authority. Prepare and support estimates regarding budgetary requirements, basing estimates on past experience, anticipated workloads, and capabilities of the organization.
