Summary This position is located at Grand Portage National Monument in the Interpretation Division. This position is also advertised under Merit Governement-Wide announcement MW-1542-GRPO-26-13007261-ST. Responsibilities Minnesota Chippewa Tribal Membership/Preference: Applicants must be a member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe and have Tribal Preference. Member reservations are: 1. Grand Portage; 2. Leech Lake; 3. Mille Lacs; 4. White Earth; 5. Boise Forte; and 6. Fond du Lac. The incumbent serves as the Chief of Interpretation for Grand Portage National Monument, leading the park's visitor services, interpretive and educational programs, supervising permanent and seasonal staff, managing volunteer participation, ensuring compliance with National Park Service standards, developing interpretive plans and media, coordinating outreach, and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Grand Portage Band and other partner organizations to support shared stewardship and program delivery...
