Supervisory Park Ranger (I)

Summary This position is located in Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, in the Visitor Services Division. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Manages a busy visitor center and interpretive functions of the park, including training, programming, special events, social media and web-based programming, outreach, and educational and volunteer programming. Supervises employees, including developing performance standards, evaluating performance, recommends promotions, reassignments, or other personnel changes while keeping employees informed of management policies and goals. Oversees administrative and budgetary funds for the division, initiates and participates in the processes necessary to obtain resources and assists in park-wide budget formulation.
