SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Summary You will serve as the Director for Energetics in the Weapons and Energetics Department of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). Responsibilities You will provide overall technical leadership for the quality and execution of NAWCWD’s energetics related work to deliver state-of-the-art weapon system solutions to the Warfighter. You will serve as a recognized technical expert and advisor for a broad spectrum of energetics-related capabilities including research and technology, development, integration, testing, and in-service engineering. You will establish the future direction of energetics in weapons systems. You will define relevant problems, determine the applicable solution techniques, and express the solution in terms that permit its application to specific weapon systems design and research problems.
