Supervisory Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Summary The purpose of this position is to serve as Supervisory Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) assigned to a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (SOHI, PCA, Brooksville, Lecanto, and/or Zephyrhills) under the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service at the James A Haley Veterans' Hospital. The Supervisory CLS exercises a full range of supervisory responsibilities in planning, directing, and assessing work of subordinate staff. Responsibilities Major Duties: These assignments require specialized training and experience. Employees must have advanced knowledge of specialized and complex subject matter extending beyond the duties of test performance. They have wide latitude for exercising independent judgment.
