Job Description
- Planning and scheduling of electrical installations and repairs
- Supervising and overseeing the work of electricians and other construction workers
- Ensuring that all electrical work is done according to local and national electrical codes
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems to ensure they are working properly and safely
- Coordinating with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, on project planning and design
- Training and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices
- Resolving electrical problems and troubleshooting equipment
- Preparing and maintaining records, reports and drawings of electrical work performed
- Ensuring the safety of the workforce by implementing safety procedures and protocols
- Estimating costs and preparing budgets for electrical projects
- Ordering and managing inventory of electrical supplies and equipment
