Policies, Processes & Procedures

Implements approved departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Safety department so that all relevant procedural legislative requirements are adhered to while delivering a quality cost-effective service in a consistent manner within their assigned area of operations.

Process Safety Management

• Implement and oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) protocols for high-risk areas including molten metal handling, gas systems and hazardous materials.
• Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and ensure adherence to safety-critical procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve process safety controls and mitigate risks.
• Prepare hazardous area classification documentation, Safety and Fire Fighting layouts, escape route, traffic management mapping and other safety drawings as needed.
