Overview

Job Purpose: The role holder is responsible to maintain accurate and reliable records of parts in inventory. Monitors reorder points and initiate action to replenish stocks. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies management of irregularities. The role holder is responsible to supervise the inventory control staff and may provide informal guidance.

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.
• Processes purchasing orders as required.
• Tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Records purchases, maintains inventory database, performs a physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
• Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
