Responsibilities

• Continuous education on CBP, FDA, Supply Chain subjects.
• Establishment and oversight of an internal customs compliance program to satisfy CBP's reasonable care requirements.
• Guarantee the correct HTS classification of finished good and raw material.
• Guarantee the valuation of material through the involvement of the finance team.
• Determination of the country of origin of the locally manufactured product.
• Provide support in responding to all CBP inquiries, including requests for information (CBP Form 28) and notices of action to the Integral Trade team.
• Review certificate of origin documents generated by the US importing entity.
• Work with regulatory affairs to ensure that the FDA information required for importation is correct and up to date.
• Direct supervision of US customs compliance.
