Position Overview

Reporting to the VP – Commercial, Major Projects, the Superintendent – Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic and operational human resources support to the Capital Projects team. This role partners closely with project leadership and employees to support workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, performance management and HR initiatives across the project. Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate effective safety leadership by promoting and enforcing BW Gold’s safety standards, procedures and systems, and ensuring all health, safety, environmental policies, rules and regulations are communicated and adhered to. Act as a business partner to the mine site managers and serve as a change agent to implement best practices. Provide guidance, coaching and support to supervisors and managers in dealing with employee relations issues, ensuring programs are established to support managers in managing a diverse workforce.
