Job Brief

The first cook position at Sunwapta serves as the night line chef and often acts as a sous-­chef for the season. Under the supervision of the Sous Chef/Executive Chef, the role is responsible for dinner line set-­up, mis-­en-­place, preparation, and service of the evening dinner menu and daily specials.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and cook the evening dinner menu.
• Ensure line set-­up is complete before dinner service begins.
• Serve all dinner menu items, following recipe standards, portion control, and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive attitude and lead the kitchen by example.
• Assist with banquets or set menus as needed.
