Stantec’s Energy team in western Canada is offering exciting opportunities for Electrical Engineers to work on a variety of utilities substation projects throughout Western Canada. The Substations Electrical Engineering team is looking to fill the role of an Electrical Engineering Team Lead. The position reports to the Substation Engineering Manager and involves leading a team of electrical engineers, designers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure client expectations related to project scope are clearly understood, met, and exceeded.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members; foster initiative, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Champion a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Offer technical leadership as a subject‑matter expert, providing professional engineering advice within and beyond the department.
