Job Description
Job SummaryAs a member of the Department of History’s Student Services Team, the Student Services Coordinator provides complex support to History Honours students and the Student Services Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate admissions for the Honours Program, managing the online admissions portal, evaluating eligibility, communicating admission results, supporting registration, and advising students on program requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex registration problems for new and returning students, adjust course seat releases and registration as needed, and work with Arts Advising on credit issues, T‑Standing, and program changes.
- Provide guidance and policy recommendations to the Honours Chair, monitor student enrollment and progress, coordinate thesis submission processes in UBC Circles, and maintain records across multiple spreadsheets and platforms.
