Structured Cabling Engineer

Position Summary

DCS Recruitment currently seeks an experienced data cabling engineer in Bishop Auckland on behalf of a national communications contractor.

Vacancies: 2 | Start date: Monday 18th May | Shift: 1 Night Shift

Responsibilities

Must have experience in data cable and device installation within a retail or commercial environment, e.g. moves, adds, and changes. Experience with CAT5/6 data cabling.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS. Industry related accreditation preferred (datacoms, network infrastructure, cabling installer).
• Hold valid IPAF 3a & 3b.
• Hold valid UKATA asbestos awareness certificate (can be completed online prior to start).
• Have own hand tools, installation and termination tools, drills, SDS/impact drivers are beneficial.
• Provide two relevant work references and right-to-work ID prior to start.
