Job Overview
A Manchester-based engineering consultancy seeks a structural design engineer to strengthen their Building Structures team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Structural engineering assessment and inspection of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Prepare high quality technical reports including dilapidation reports and due diligence structural surveys.
- Undertake analysis and design using software packages such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS to support reporting tasks.
- Ensure consistency of technical output (drawings, reports, etc.).
- Liaise with and lead other design team members to achieve coordinated design solutions that meet client objectives.
