About the role
The Greater Wellington Region incorporates the Tararua, Horowhenua, Kāpiti, Porirua, Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa. As Strategic Advisor, Māori, you are a key member of our regional leadership team, providing thought leadership and expertise to inform and shape strategies, work programmes and complex system issues aimed at accelerating Māori educational achievement.
Working with our nine iwi partners and other Māori organisations, you will ensure Māori needs and aspirations are at the forefront of decision‑making and promote Māori identity, language and culture.
