PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To offload, stack and load materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
1-year experience in a mining environment is essential
COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in a workplace.
Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to materials handling and safe stacking practices.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the risks involved in the manufacture, use, handling and storage of dangerous and hazardous substances.
Move, pack and maintain stock in a warehouse.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packs materials into the correct bin locations.
Load goods and materials in bins identified and trucks / LDV's.
Maintains housekeeping standards in the warehouse / Yard or dedicated area.
