Job Description
STORES ASSISTANT
Location: Waterfront, Cape Town
In this role, you will need to ensure the accurate receipt, storage, issuing and control of engineering materials while maintaining stock integrity, HACCP compliance, operational efficiency and safe material handling practices.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Inventory Manager
Key Areas of Impact
- Material Issuing and Stock Control: Verify SAP reservations and issue stock against the signed documentation.
- Receiving and Verification of Stock: Inspect deliveries against invoices and the delivery notes.
- Housekeeping, HACCP and Safety Compliance: Conduct daily housekeeping and safety inspections.
- Forklift Operations and Material Handling: Operate forklift safely for loading and offloading activities.
- Inventory Support and Operational Assistance: Conduct cycle counts and assist with operational requirements.
