Steel Structure Erector

Responsibilities

• Work as Structural Erector at a large O & G construction site.
• Rotate through different tasks on assembly line.
• Decide how the work is assigned and how different tasks are performed.
• Determine if all parts are present.
• Assemble tools and materials.
• Read parts list.
• Ensure systems meet all standards of building codes and safety.
• Position parts and sub-assemblies.
• Verify specifications.
• Assemble components.
• Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
• Alter dimensions to fit specifications.
• Resolve assembly and production issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 years experience.
• ITI qualification.
• Overseas experience preferred but not mandatory.
