Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Fixer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity of our construction projects by accurately placing and securing steel reinforcements.
- Read and interpret building plans, engineering drawings and specifications to determine steel reinforcement requirements
- Set out work areas and calculate material needs for each project
- Cut, bend and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power tools
- Position and secure steel bars, mesh and other reinforcement materials in concrete forms
- Tie and weld reinforcing bars to create sturdy frameworks for concrete structures
- Install spacers and supports to maintain proper positioning of reinforcements
