Job Description
This position involves previous experience with metal stamping presses. This person will be responsible for the following:
• Attaining efficiency targets (work with equipment and die maintenance on countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence)
• Planning for successful die changes (less than 5 minutes) and coil changes (less than 3 minutes)
• Maintaining Kanban system on one press
• Quality – Work with Group Leader to determine countermeasures for internal and external rejects
• Housekeeping – Daily organization and cleanliness for one press and surrounding area
• Following TBTN’s standard work procedures, safety, quality, and productivity
This person must be a team player and a goal oriented achiever capable of assisting in a fast paced, work environment. Experience as a setup operator is beneficial in this role.
