Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview

SUSE is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our core Rancher team. The team maintains Rancher, the enterprise Kubernetes management platform. In this role you will work on security, scalability, authentication and authorization systems, building a premier tool for deploying, managing, and operating Kubernetes and containerized workloads across on‑prem, public cloud, and edge environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply mastery in Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies to solve complex challenges for the Rancher product.
• Contribute to new ideas shaping the future direction of our technology and industry.
