Staff Nurse (BAND 6) - Robert Tiffany Ward

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Staff Nurse for the Robert Tiffany Ward. The ward consists of 13 rooms and 2 surgical day areas, offering specialist facilities to provide excellent ongoing care of patients throughout their cancer journey. Full‑time and part‑time working patterns will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a shift, communicating effectively with members of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, evidence‑led care to patients.
• Exercise clinical judgment and decision‑making about patient needs in terms of long‑term goals or plans.
• Participate fully in the day‑to‑day organisation and running of clinical trials, including recruitment, education and monitoring of patients entering a clinical trial and liaison with trial sponsors.
• Assume personal accountability for nursing care delivered to a patient in accordance with the NMC code of conduct.
