Staff Nurse - Acute Medical Assessment Unit

<p><strong>Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU):</strong></p> <p>The person appointed to this post will work within the Acute Healthcare setting working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to patient care.</p> <p>The Acute Medical Unit provides rapid assessment, diagnosis and commencement of treatment. Patients can attend the department from a variety of sources, including the Emergency Department and GPs. The AMAU is currently a Monday to Friday service and is expanding its daily opening hours.</p> <p>The Staff Nurse AMAU works closely with the Multi-disciplinary team to ensure the patient gets a high standard of care and access to the right treatment at the right time.</p>
