Staff Fund Accountant - Independent Contractor

Remote, full-time position for U.S. based company working U.S. Hours.

$7-$9 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Fund Accountant to join the Fund Administration team. In this role, you will support the accounting, reporting, and administration of a portfolio of client funds — potentially including hedge funds, endowments, family offices and private equity funds — on behalf of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in fund administration, gaining broad exposure to multiple alternative investment strategies and structures while working directly with client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the general ledger and books and records 
• Perform monthly/quarterly NAV calculations
• Prepare daily AUM reports for client entities
• Prepare weekly cash reports and monitor daily cash transactions
