Job Description
Essential Job Duties
- Hire, train, develop, and motivate warehouse personnel to follow procedures, meet high quality standards, production schedules, operations department goals, and productivity requirements.
- Supervise a team of managers and individual contributors with functional responsibility for performing ongoing receiving, put‑away, picking, kitting, replenishment route running, tool crib and indirect material.
- Maintain documented procedures to define receiving, material movement and storage, kitting for direct and indirect material responsibilities, same as tool crib.
- Ensure that optimal inventory levels of commodities are maintained to meet production requirements.
- Estimate current and future warehouse capacity requirements.
- Manage FIFO strategies to assure the correct consumption of the material.
- Ensure that company procedures, including SOX and FDA requirements, are understood and adhered to.
