Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer, Infrastructure Reliability & Quality

Job Overview

Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Reliability & Quality (IRQ) engineering team provides engineering support for our data center infrastructure mechanical and electrical equipment (Air Handling Unit, Switchgear, Breaker, Panel Board, UPS, Transformers, Generators, ATS, etc.) as well as infrastructure security equipment (Cameras, Access Control, etc.) throughout their lifecycle. As a Senior Quality Engineer you will ensure the highest standards of quality for AWS infrastructure equipment from supplier selection through field deployment, evaluating supplier capabilities through technical assessments and on‑site evaluations, investigating quality issues via failure mode analysis, and applying engineering judgment to assess quality risks across design, manufacturing, and deployment stages.

Travel required, both international and domestic, approximately 30-50%.
