At Onetree, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in cloud data migration and optimization projects.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the engineering team on the migration of functionality from Azure to AWS, designing efficient and scalable data structures.Define the best storage solutions in AWS and Azure, based on access patterns, data size, cost, scalability, and resilience.Design, build, and test data migration processes across clouds, including co-hosting scenarios and gradual transitions of read and write operations.Requirements:The position requires candidates must be based in Mexico City.
The first few months will be on-site, after which the role will move to a hybrid work model.Proven experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in cloud migration projects (Azure / AWS)Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis).
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines (DBT, Glue, DMS).
