Sr. Cardiac Pacer-ICD Tech - Cardiology - Full-Time

A Senior Cardiac Pacer-ICD Technician working in the Adult Cardiology Practice works under the supervision of the cardiology physicians and reports directly to the Nurse Manager or Regional Manager of the department. Must be able to identify arrhythmias and respond per department guidelines including making clinical judgements per national standards and within scope of practice. Interrogates implantable cardiac devices including retrieving clinical data, trouble shooting of devices to ensure proper functionality, generating a summary report, and scheduling a follow up visit. Performs Pacemaker/ICD checks in office. Remote monitoring of devices including Linq and Loop Recorders and other implantable devices. The Senior Cardiac Pacer-ICD Technician will also perform post-operative wound checks with initial interrogation and report any abnormalities to practitioner.
