Job Description
Buyer responsible for the creation and execution of Purchasing Strategies on specific commodities.
Cost management of products and services through research, quotes, pricing negotiation, and issuance of purchase orders.
Manages all aspects of purchasing of parts and services while taking into account cost-effective solutions.
Develops budget estimates and forecasts for a specific commodity.
Selects qualified suppliers and manufacturers and develops new supply sources of high dollar value, long lead time, critically needed parts, equipment, materials, or services.
Maintain productive relationships with suppliers while obtaining best purchasing prices.
At least 5 years of experience in purchasing.
Automotive purchasing experience is desirable
Fluent in English.
**Education**: Business, Supply Chain Mgt, Engineering, or similar.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Capacity to create commodity strategies and follow them.
