Job Summary
Standard Chartered is seeking a technically strong and solutions-oriented Frontend engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will play a key role in establishing frontend design principles, coding standards, and architectural patterns aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
In this role, you’ll architect performance-first React applications using modern frameworks (React Server Components, Streaming SSR), drive architectural decisions, and troubleshoot complex problems across application and infrastructure layers. You will also be responsible for mentoring teams, breaking down complex requirements into actionable user stories, and promoting best practices in Agile development and secure programming.
